Jorge is some sort of petroglyph expert and he always tells me about some amazing one over there – waving vaguely at a hill. The only ones I’d seen before these were not easy to see, or not very exciting: some indents in the rock, maybe a circle.
This petroglyph is something different: impossible to miss, very clearly carved in stone, the image of the deer incredibly present.
This one is the Os Mouchos petroglyph, just a few kilometers from our house, near Rianxo. A relyc of the Bronze Age just around the corner.
